About

The Quiet Loft Workshop is an independent digital practice and personal portfolio based in Canada, bringing together content creation, visual design, thoughtful commerce, and a technical foundation in web development.

Across a growing collection of niche brands, I create digital products, develop visual content, build and operate online storefronts, and shape the systems that give each project its own distinct identity.

A Multidisciplinary Foundation

My work is shaped by experience spanning content creation, digital marketing, e-commerce, and web development, supported by an academic background in neuroscience and training in contemplative and energy practices. Each area contributes something distinct: thoughtful communication, practical systems thinking, careful research, and close attention to how digital spaces feel as well as how they function.

Content, Digital Marketing & E-commerce: Hands-on experience spans content strategy, SEO-conscious writing, digital product creation, catalogue planning, product presentation, and the day-to-day operation of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Fourthwall storefronts.

Neuroscience & Research: A PhD in neuroscience and subsequent research experience strengthened my ability to evaluate evidence, synthesize complex information, and communicate it clearly—skills I bring to research-informed content and responsible wellness communication.

Web Development & Technical Systems: Previous experience in full-stack development supports responsive website construction, platform setup, technical troubleshooting, and the practical systems connecting content, products, and online stores.

Yoga, Reiki & Contemplative Practice: Certifications in Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Usui Reiki, and Animal Reiki provide direct subject knowledge for my wellness brands and inform a calm, respectful approach to content and visual design.

The Workshop Philosophy

I believe digital work can be practical without feeling impersonal, and beautiful without becoming distracting. Whether I am creating a printable, developing a visual identity, or building an online storefront, I aim to make each experience clear, cohesive, and quietly distinctive.

Technology is a tool in service of the idea. My approach is to understand what each project needs, attend carefully to the details, and build systems that support both the creative vision and the people who encounter it.

By bringing together content, visual design, thoughtful commerce, and technical experience, I create digital work that is clear in function, distinctive in character, and quietly human.
